Join REIÂ for its first course in a three-part virtual event series on Emergency Preparedness Essentials in September. This three part series is designed to help you prepare for and respond to emergencies--including natural and man-made disasters. Learn the basics of identifying risks, prioritizing survival steps, planning for regional risks, preparing a "Go Bag," as well as sheltering in place throughout the whole series.Â
In this first session, "Preparing to Prepare," we will share principles of readiness and evacuation plan basics. The first half of this program will discuss the power of Positive Mental Attitude, S.T.O.P., and the Law of Threes, as well as survival prioritization. In the second half, we will cover how to plan for the environment and potential regional risks, including how to source emergency plans and contacts for your area.
Register to receive the Zoom link for the first event in the series on Friday, Sept. 11 at 12 p.m. PT.Â
